My career started in Milan where I lived for 15 years. I worked as a freelance designer and interior designer primarily for high- end Italian companies. After Milan I worked in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Shanghai and Taipei.

In the 90s I was one of the first designers to work for the Asian market and I got to know this market inside out. During this time, I also built up a vast network with a range of international producers.

I also spent some time working in Denmark designing high-end household goods. My style became strongly influenced by the structured and clean design of the north.
